Deathsmiles Premium Arrange Soundtrack unknown tracks?
So I've had Deathsmiles for about a year or two (in fact, it was the first cave game I ever bought), but I just took the time to rip the soundtrack that came with it to my hard drive. But now that I've done it, I've noticed that while most of the tracks have names, about a third of them just show up as "unknown track" (tracks 3,9,10,11,12, and 15). None of the tracks have artists listed either (they all show up as "unknown artist"). If anybody else has the album ripped directly from the cd, can they verify that these tracks are supposed to be unnamed? I remember trying to play the cd in a defective player that caused skipping on everything, so I don't know if I damaged it that way...

Probably whatever source your media player is using to grab the info from just doesn't have complete information.

CDs don't actually have track names on the disc in 99% of cases.

It isn't that one, but the one I'm talking about IS on the site under a different name (the only thing different about the name is it has "premium" in it.)shmuppyLove wrote:This one?

I guess it would make sense that my player didn't have the info (I was just using the build in copy of windows media player) but I don't get why the player was able to get names for most of the tracks. Is it possible WMP only had partial info?

Well it's not Windows Media Player itself, it will be whatever source on the internet (probably Gracenote) that it attempts to pull the metadata from.cave hermit wrote:It isn't that one, but the one I'm talking about IS on the site under a different name (the only thing different about the name is it has "premium" in it.)
