Tales of Xillia follows Jude Mathis, a clever medical student attending school in the capital city, and Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman accompanied by four unseen beings. Players will be able to choose either Jude or Milla at the outset of their adventure through the world of Rieze Maxia, where humans and spirits live together in harmony. The kingdom of Rashugal has been experimenting with a powerful source that led to draining the mana from the world. Realizing the harm it is inflicting on the world, Jude and Milla set off on a journey to destroy it and restore the mana back to the world.
I actually pre-ordered this to make sure I could get the limited-edition with the bonus items, the first time I have ever done so. Bamco showing some love to the Tales fans with the free add-ins for the first run copies.
I never had much personal affinity for the Tales series, as the samples I'd played of a few of them never did much for me, but someone convinced me to give Graces f on the PS3 a try a little while ago, and I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to...enough, in fact, to convince me to plunk down my own preorder for Xillia. It supposedly mixes elements from Graces and Vesperia (the latter of which I'm not as fond of, though admittedly I haven't played as much of it), but I'm still willing to give it a try and see how it goes. Also keeping an eye on the HD Symphonia remake, though I don't know enough about those two to judge yet.
Graces f, Vesperia and yes now Symphonia Chronicles are all on my wish list.
Just polished off the main quest in Oblivion on the PC today, and though there is still a significant amount of content besides the main quest, I'm more or less free of it.
Infinite Undiscovery I'll need to put some serious effort into completing in the next week though ...
