I hope he only burned just the box and not the contents inside it, if he did, serious facepalm...>_>Teufel_in_Blau wrote:Tell that to the guy who burned his CAVE collection.

It's actually a legendary picture though. Saved straight to desktop. Don't regret: the Cave Budget collection is only for today, your pyromania will live on for eternity.hail good sir wrote:It was just the cardboard box, and I only held on to it to wait for an opportunity try and piss off any cave cardboard box collectors still out there.

One more time, and it's Tecnosoft's Iron Maiden.KAI wrote:

In a perfect world, Deep Purple's description would go here. ;_;Icarus wrote:Clover-TAC opens expanded Yotsubane Studio (not "Clover Studio" because we know what happened to that), with former Cave and Raizing developers.
You heard it here first.
I disagree. I love Cave's games but all their releases are incredibly similar. I'd be happy if they'd let Yagawa make Yagawa-style STGs at least. But imo they really should try to get away from their core mechanics a bit.Muchi Muchi Spork wrote:Restructuring departments into one can be helpful with creativity but that's one area they don't need help in. My prediction, new arcade shooter is announced by the end of January. I don't think using a pcb is out either. If they wanted to use discs and computers as their format they could have done it 10 years ago.
Never go full Yagawa. Last time Cave went full Yagawa we got Pink Sweets and the ship speeds changed every time you cancel a bomb. You never go full Yagawa.Special World wrote:I disagree. I'd really like to see shmups becoming more prominent on the PC. As it is, shmups on the PC are still underrepresented. You can't really say people don't want shmups on the PC when there are so few of them available (good shmups, I mean). There's Crimzon Clover, Diadra Empty, Hellsinker, not to mention all of Cave's games - put them on Steam and show people what real shmups are made of.ciox wrote:Zeether wrote:PC.Vetus wrote: And considering how shitty it looks Xbox One's future I'm wondering which console will be the new home for future shmups.
