Odd. A quick search for XIIZeal shows the game was released in 2009 as a Pocket PC version of XII Stag...

Interesting forthcoming release though if it is the real deal!

Nope, this looks to be a name change. Probably to do with some form of copyright with the former development house...although why would they change XIISTAG's name as well?

G-Stream G2020 was the absolute last shmup I'd have guessed to get a 360 port. By a fucking long shot.

OMG I want this! Trizeal, Exzeal and Minus Zero on 200X was good and fun to play! It'll be fun to see if a Shooting Skill Test mode exist for this one too. :3

Definitely looks like G-Stream - that's certainly an unexpected development and as mentioned not a game I ever expected to see get a modern release let alone a second release. Perhaps Triangle Service is doing better these days. Here's to hoping it sounds better than arcade although that shouldn't be too farfetched an expectation.

Considering things are quiet with CAVE there is alot of other shmup devs popping up atm. But the main question is, are Triangle Service shmups any good?

Haha, WTF. Will probably pick this up just for the novelty of G-Stream of all shooters getting a port. Never played it but it does look pretty rad with the huge, chunky, detailed Raiden Fighters-style deathmachines.

Isn't this the game with the crazy melting PCB? A launch 360 should feel particularly authentic.

Typically, opinions are mixed. They've certainly got a charm about them. I do think XIIStag and G-Stream are some of their least appreciated titles though, so I'm glad they're getting this re-release.

Apparently the artists for G-Stream were part of the original Raiden team? Something like that. And yes, this is the game with the $500 PCB that melts if you look at it wrong.

I always loved triangle service despite their shmups being somewhat simplistic. Trizeal will always be a favourite, and Exzeal (sp)? Was awesome as well when I owned it for the Naomi.

It would be cool if TS would retrofit XIIZeal with the ability to play as the Trizeal ships, seeing as they included the XIIStag ships as a bonus in Trizeal.
