It's been a wee while, but I think it's every 2 million points you get an extend.what is the exact thing that gives you extra EXTENDS
The C button version is popular because it tends to kill things quickly which needs to be done in order to keep the multiplier going.I see everywhere that you guys chose C button configuration...mmmh, why?
The videos on superplay and Icarus' guide should make understanding everything a bit easier.

Zah? I have an Unlimited ver. PCB and I had to input the codes to unlock the extra modes and ships. Same with my ROM.freddiebamboo wrote:The Unlimited Version ROM has all extras unlocked from the start.

Yeah it saves my scores for Bakraid but not Batrider. The PCB saves scores too, which I don't think Batrider does.freddiebamboo wrote:Thats odd...
I just rechecked the unlimited rom and everything is available from the start and the parent rom has no extras enabled when I start it up.
Does mame save your settings in bakraid? I know it usually saves your scoreboard which batrider doesn't do.

Put this one back in the cab after my progress stalled in Ra.De. This score may not count though cause I have stage select on.
Advance course:
Acid King - 13,802,270 - Flame Viper [A] - Stage 6

i just hit 4,303,XXX with the Flame Viper on normal course...but with a level less than my all-time best 4,700,xxxish !!!
Im starting to understand how to use the multiplier to my advantage, altough i have to work on timing...
You guys confirm me that is possible to do at least Sea Side and desert level with a multiplier goin on all the time?
I love this game!

Boss Only:
shoe-sama - 2,374,900 - Flame Viper [C] - Stage 7 (Golem)
I so need to figure out how to chain Axebeak, and possibly other bosses like Bahamut and Leviathen or however it's spelled in this game.
Bomb vs Jabberwock, Tiamat x2, Golem
Deaths at Tiamat, Gigamanta (stupid trapping 6way), Golem

I'm kinda practicing the Axebeak chain for stage 1, but haven't been able to pull it off successfully. I got 4.5M once, but that was a fluke since I haven't been able to do it again.
There's a 10M+ point strategy in Icarus's ST.
The targets of interest are the 2 wing flaps and cockpit on the boss's first phase. They're worth 50k each, which is the equivalent of 3.2M each with a x64 multiplier. Pulling it all off tricky though, since the wing flaps can only be destroyed while open and the cockpit's at the top of the screen. And obviously, one has to destroy the 6 missile launchers to build up to x64. All while fighting the chain timer. Bomb placement and timing is also quite unforgiving, since there's the issue of keeping the fuselage alive and stuff.
