Would it be possible for RSG to release it on steam? They have already released Deathsmiles, DDP DFK and soon Akai Katana.
Maybe they can get the games to Steam/PC, or is it up to CAVE ?

I watched the HEY guys today and while there was some incredible playing going on, no TLBs. Not even on the top saved scores. One guy got 15.1 billion (after the clear bonus), losing only 1 life, and beat regular Hibachi with a 20+ rank and got no TLB. He had a higher score than the guy who triggered it in the video posted early, so I think we can rule score out as a requirement.

He also ended stage 1 with 8 hypers and stage 2 with 9. Going in to stage 3, he saved up his max 10 hypers for the midboss and melted the thing in seconds, so it would appear that more hypers does mean more damage dealt.

Thanks for the info. Also, force one of these japanese gods to record a game please . Nico's videos still aren't higher than 8b.

Nice Photoshop

Now show me the ".exe"'s original names...

And well, I'm still laughing at the joke but hell... it still bother me (and ashame me) how happy I became when I saw the first image.

Ilyrian... how do you say on one moment "it will happen" then "it was a joke" and now "It will happen again".

You get what I want to say

Don't get me wrong, I really want this to be real, heck, I even made that thread and spread the message, but The more I get happy from this, the more it will hurt when it turns out to be fake.

Just because people are actually still falling for this. And all it took was an angled screencap. Man, you guys are gullible.
I haven't actively browsed/used this forum in many years and it's no longer an accurate representation of me.

I have retired from genre-specific content creation after 13 years, but I'll always love this little genre in my own personal way.

Do you remember how high exactly the rank was? I know you said it was 20+ but the guy in the video had 27. Maybe the cap's 25?

I'm putting my bet down on it being at least partially rank-related. Maybe bees collected over a certain number (not all but high amount) + lives kept (fair few in stock?) + rank 25 and over?

The damage of the hyper depends on the level :? ... that will be really troublesome when timing the end of the hyper and bullet cancelling enemies...

Edit: So... when will Icarus step forward and say it was a joke all along?

TheSoundofRed, you've totally misinterpreted the message! Illyrian was just reminding me that I was, in fact, the captain of Team Hard Gay. No other meaning was intended, seriously! Guys wait for it, SDOJ will be on Steam any minute now!

I started using the ROFLcopter, yet I can't find more that 125m on stage 1.

I added annotations to explain how scoring system works in the video. The most important isn't to get a lot of points on stage 1, but having a lot of hypers for stage 2.

Eh, I quit caring. I find the game becoming stale. I hit a wall, hard. Just not good at this one. If it was more fun, I'd probably have a better attitude towards it.

Hope you guys get a port or manage to grab a PCB, sounds like y'all are really excited for it.
