Davey posted informations of this gathering on our group page, and several of us have decided to come out and enjoy some video games playing and fellowship...

so, I guess this is a formal post to say we WILL be in attendance for at least Saturday!!

Hey everyone - ok - so couple weeks away and I'm stoked - this should be the best one yet. I've decided that I should probably only let those who have stayed with me before stay with me this time as I have a wealth of people asking and I want to make sure everyone who has asked has a spot.

There will be a super secret score title game for the couch Friday night and Saturday night.

I have pretty much emptied my inbox of messages, so those who are planning on staying with me, shoot me a pm for info. Those who plan on attending, make sure to respond to this thread and I will hit everyone with a PM the Monday before with all the info. Most of the info is already in the thread, but it will have contact numbers for myself and Logan Hardware, addresses, times and so on.

I'm very much looking forward to this - got some great games, a ton of monitors and cabs, pinball and classic arcades! Zespy has bought a bunch of boards since last year, so along with what caldwert and others are bringing, we will have a silly wealth of games!

jealous. I've never been able to go. I would go this year for magrudergrind, converge, pig destroyer, pallbearer, and weekend nachos alone.

I'll be attending the shmupsmeet - I'm not sure whether I'll be there both days or not - but I'm typically home from work by 5 PM and I live in Mokena so I wouldn't need to stay overnight. Not sure what I'm bringing (if anything but beer?) since most of what I have.. others have as well, but we'll discuss that in the PM.

Maybe a 36 inch tube tv to enjoy some of the older consoles on, unless Caldwert is bringing enough NEC's. It is a monster Toshiba, but allows you to see your hit box down to the pixel.

Back from MDF and man, that was amazing. I'll spare you all the details who don't really care here, but quickly - Sleep was amazing and worth the trip alone. Must have been 10,000 people there. When Sleep started, the place just exploded.

I'll be setting up the week at Zespy's and getting everything out via PM - so shoot me a PM or post a messqge in this thread if you haven't already and I'll send everything out tomorrow morning.

Brendz and I should be there mid afternoon, depending on how long the cab from the airport is, I think we land at like 2 or something. We will go straight to Logan's after the liquor store and help setup or whatever.

Also glad to help tear down a bit on sunday; our flight back isn't until like 6:30PM, so we will have time to kill anyways.

Ya, we were going to do the bus again, but I realized 18 hrs each way, we'd be spending almost as much time on the bus as at the meet. This was the better, albeit more expensive, option for sure.

Man, I hope that vegetarian mexican place down the block from Logan's is still there, that shit was tasty!!
