AVE - 468,100 - 2-2 - Saturn

1-lifed the first loop, then died in Stage 2-1. I was not appreciated on those sudden mass of bullets O_o

Anyway, thats enough of Arcade Gradius. I'm now going to no miss Gradius for PC Engine. =)

Tryed to use suicides for scoring with some success. Though otherwise I didn't play that well on this run, so there would easily be more points to gather in the first loop.

Died right after the upside-down volcanos, and respawn was terrible.

Gradius II (MAME)
RFP - 231 300 - 1-5 Type 3 F

Got sloppy my first time through the Moai. Also played in MAME since I am without my Saturn copy. I used the 'New' version and it has the correct extends.

It wasn't exactly pretty but it's my first 1CC ever. I am playing this on a PS2, but I haven't noticed any problems with Gradius 1 when compared to ben.shinobi's superplay video.

Time to bring this high score board back to life.

Gradius 1 (MAME) - Bloodreign 1-4 176,400

My last life on stage 4 I was dancing around bullets (and I do mean dancing, lots of it), hadn't had enough powerups for missiles, when I finally was able to get enough for one, got hit by a bullet right as picked up the capsule. Best normal run of Gradius 1 I've ever had (not counting an easy mode 1cc on Gradius Deluxe Pack PSX, and Gradius on Gradius Collection). The previous life I had an option and double, just couldn't pull it off with that combo.

Gradius (PSP)
rantak - 358100 - 2-1
My first 1CC. I'm satisfied with the run, but I wasted my last life because I thought I was on my last life and when I noticed that the game continued I was already dead :(

Settings:
Game level : 3 Normal
Life: 3
Hit Size: Normal
Wait: 1
Extend: 30k, and then every 80k

Gradius 1 (MAME) - Bloodreign 1-4 183,200

No autofire really makes my hand cramp on the AC version, I'll try on Saturn soon enough, also improvement not huge but it looks slightly better.

I also have my hands on Gradius 2 PCE CD, I'll post scores for that one here if it's ok, it seems to be the same as arcade Gradius 2 save for an extra level.
