got posted back a bit ago i think there might have been a highscore thread at one point. I like it. although once you get full power it's not much of a challenge. liked the branching weapon thing though awesome.

Played it some, didn't like it that much. I never did figure out how to control weapon upgrades, so a lot of times I'd wind up with the top right one (I -think- it was top right), which sucks, so I'd spend several minutes using special fire long enough to downgrade once and try again. That, and there weren't many enemy patterns at all. I managed to clear Arcade Normal mode with something like 80 lives in reserve, after losing a few dozen in the final stage, where the bullet count and slowdown just gets completely out of hand. Arcade Hard mode is... hard, though.

(Oh, I didn't go beat Arcade Normal today or anything, this was some months ago.)

Yes, I love this shmup! Best PC shmup ever, IMO! (Well, except for Spectrum Flying Shark! :wink: )
