Darius 2 in MAME

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the subwoofer effect? It's awful.

Slider controls on the MAME option menu while playing a game, here's the only things I touched (only if you are using regular MAME, not too sure if it works the same way in other builds).

Turned both , lspeaker and rspeaker YM2610 ym ch o volume down to 0, it eliminates the subwoofer sounds that can be heard during the game, seems to be the best setting far as I can tell.

In my opinion Darius 2 is where they first hit their stride. Many say Darius Gaiden but I disagree, although I love Gaiden.
