Help Identifying Monitor chassis // suggestions

Post by Battlesmurf »

Have a monitor chassis here that I *think* came from a Toshiba tube, and that I *think* is a Toei. I *think* the flyback is dead- so I'm trying to determine the best course of action- if it's a dead flyback- chances are the monitor shop I've been using lately won't be able to help and I'll need to find some place that can.

What size tube did this come from? Do you have a pic of the remote board? If its the flyback thats the problem (no power - no picture), chances are slim you will be able to find an exact replacement...you'd have better luck finding a similar broken board with working flyback.

Hey Mr Dave : D 29" Capcom Impress. I can snap a pic of the remote board here in a bit.

Dumb me- I don't remember seeing glow at the time I pulled it- but it's been so long I'm doubting myself. I did lose picture, though.
