I've never heard of an LCD that isn't safe to tate.

LED just describes the backlighting, so yeah, it won't make a difference. That said, you'd do better to get yourself a cheap CRT vs any LCD. I simply can't play shmups on LCDs. The lag, even when incredibly small, it still too annoying to not notice.

After the play on a plasma tv with lag on 150ms :? , 5ms its a blessing, but perhaps on a future when i will have space on my home i try with a CRT 17" they i have

Thank so much to everyone, i will work on this. I will tell you as i finish...

If on the future someone have any other suggestion i listen

Just a FYI, don't mistake "response time" for input lag when looking at LCD specs. They're two totally different things.

I investigate what you said and its truth, damn! I did not know that... =(
10x drunkninja24.
now i have other question... the minor "response time" increasde the probability of less "input lag"?

The TV plasma have input lag on 150ms, that know for the calibration on rythm games but is very ambiguous
The LED monitor have time response on 5ms... the input lag i dont know, but certainly is greatly less than 150ms... i will try found its on the future with a rythm game.

Anyone know an accurate way to know the "input lag"?

unfortunately not. Older LCD monitors had zero input lag while having a high response rate. New monitors often have very low response (2ms), but use overdrive to do this. The overdrive can cause a input lag of 2-3 frames (33-50ms).
