No miss to stage 9, where I got greedy for points and died trying to grab a speed up for points. Chain deathed through the rest of the game because no speed and then got brutalized on loop 2.

Did a little worse than my 2P side clear, and like the 2P side clear, I did a shameful chain death through stages 9 and 10 again. Last boss killed me just before it timed out and I wasn't able to kill it. Sadness.

I took a hit very early on in stage 5, but I managed to use my checkpoint recovery routes to get to stage 8, no-missed stages 8/9 while recovering to full power, and took that life to 10-05 and using most of my remaining lives to reach the final checkpoint & beat the boss.

I kind of hate recovery in games that respawn you in place after dying and also have speed powerups, by the way. I always feel like the first death leads to an inevitable chain death.

Guess I'd better explain myself, my apologies. For the AREA field, the first two digits are for loop, the second two digits are for stage (which goes up to 10), and the last two digits are for the per-stage "parsec"/"area" concept that a lot of Toaplan games were using. This is based on what the game does, but the game doesn't count loops separately (so something like 2-1 would be written as "11-??" by the game), that's something I added. I know people can loop this game entirely too much, the counter does stop at some point, and I wanted to avoid a mess like I currently have with Slap Fight (which I really need to fix). Yes, I should probably do this for the MD boards as well, but I wanted to wait for someone to actually hit 99 first. I'm pretty sure Mills's arcade Fire Shark score actually hit displayable stage 99, at least.

You can pan the screen to only destroy the right blimp ( for the P, left blimp gives a speed up) right before the boss. Otherwise, the bouncing weapon item gets in the way of your boss pointblank & you'll likely die.

Due to my Google Pixel 8 stopped recording after 10 minutes, i'll make a summary for the rest of the run: No miss until midway through stage 4, near the boss (where i got sniped by the tank on the right corner), then chain death at the fourth boss because i didn't attempted to find any safe spot to time it out (not prepared for it either, will watch Cross Fish video of that checkpoint). Arrived at stage 5 with no lives left, i was pretty scarry and quickly died soon after.

And sorry for can't capture the score, which is approximately around 600k
