Responsive/resistant Arcade Buttons?

Post by Christoph »

I have used HAPP & SANWA, not sure what specific button models.. but I have yet to find a button that feels really right.. They've all felt too loose and non-resistant.

Any recommendations on a nice resistant, responsive button? In other words, needs more force to be depressed (not ridiculous or anything). Needs to be 30mm.

sanwa OBS-30A or OBS-30B (A= snap-in, B= screw)

they both use a regular micro-switch, and they are more resistant/heavier feeling than normal. I'd say 2-4x more than the typical switch used on Happ buttons, etc.

personally, I find them way too heavy, but they might be just what you're looking for.

Nice, thanks for the rec. Are their any Seimitsu buttons that could fit the bill?

My PS-14-KN buttons felt slightly too stiff at first, but now they've worn in they're about right.
