All 3 Streets of Rages, SWEEEET!!!

It doesn't say wether they will be on the PAL or US versions but I'm sure they will be.
Wow. That is sweet! Bonanza Bros too! Bonanza Bros is a very fun game. I have the PS2 collection version and I love it.theevilfunkster wrote:According to Gamespot (and I'm sure many other places) the Japanese Sonic Gems Collection will include four games as bonuses: Streets of Rage, Streets of Rage II, Streets of Rage III, and Bonanza Brothers.

Are you sure that Sonic's appeal is pre-teen? After all, we're discussing on this forum and I can see we're definitely "old" sega fans. Why a kid would want to buy a collection of sonic games?sethsez wrote:Eh, I can believe it. It's not like Sega took them out just for the express purpose of pissing off Americans, laughing a Snidely Whiplash laugh. It most likely would have bumped the rating up to Teen, which would kill a Sonic collection.
You're smart enough to know that it doesn't work necessarily that way. I hate to say this, because it is not true for me, but for the majority of gamers out there games are like fish... they get rotten fast. This applies to kids and young casual gamers as well.sethsez wrote:And how old were all of us when we first got into Sonic?
Fair enough, but I never mentioned graphics. I don't think it's about graphics... I just think, that a kid these days is not, huh, bombed with Sonic tv spots, Sonic cereals, Sonic gadgets and such. I don't know there in the US, but here the whole Sonic affair is pretty much dead. IF a guy does recognize the name, you can tell he is not a ten years old.sethsez wrote:The Pokemon / Yu-Gi-Oh kids might care about certain things when they buy games, but graphics aren't among them.
Yes, I think in the end you are right. There's no point to debate this if we don't have actual sales evidence. But yeah, Sega is probably right to market such a collection for younger audience. Even if it may not reach that kind of target (as I'm afraid, see above posts), there's no denial that it SHOULD. I'd love to see kids loving the hedgehog and such.sethsez wrote: And the first MAT was rated T, while the second was M, so I'm not surprised that the audience was different.
