Possible genesis shmup

now first, i don't mean to be taking stock in information G4 is handing out, but...

they just had a news feed on some download pay-to-play service in japan for megadrive games. one of the games (with play footage) looked remarkably like a Strikers type game and had a black-bar yoko display.

are they getting more stupid or does my knowledge have gaps (gaps, please)?

just saw this on the Sheeps site too. what the hell?

*figured maybe i should put the above into context (as close as i can anyway). in the movie footage i saw on G4 there were some enemies that looked like they were out of Strikers. found the above image while searching through his available screens.*

could you give a link to the site you mentioned? Maybe it´s a late development that never came out on a regular cartridge. In that case, it should be possible to use the flash cartridges someone linked to here a while ago, store it on there and play it on a Genesis. I´d also like to see those screens.

it was on G4 tv. a gaming network we have in the states. in the background while talking about this new service they showed footage from Altered Beast, Sonic the Hedgehog, and this mystery shmup.

I can't believe I am so old at this forum. Some years ago there were a lots of jokes around those S1945 pics, and people made some "photoshop" stuff saying that they were only in the Hong Kong version of it.

Anyway, AFAIK, those pics show up when you 1cc the game in the default or harder levels.

About the S1945 screen, I am thinking of completing loop 2 in 1cc *meow*.

I think every one here should know, if you complete s1945 loop 1 in 1cc you see the (woman) pliot of your plane *meow*. May be you got that screen if you complete loop 2 in 1cc with 2 players *Meow*.

On the lower diff levels you'll see the gals' pics if you 1CC the game as well, though they're actually clothed.

also, after thinking about it. i am more confused than ever. sure the channel is stupid, but they are handing out news specifically about megadrive games, why the hell would they get confused with footage they edit into their reel?

oh, and in my confusion i have gone to their homepage... twice. i feel dirty...
