I am have a little discussion of sorts on another message board and I just wanted to get an opinion from here since this is Shmups after all.
If someone "beats" a shmup by using continues would you consider that beating the game?

Only way to beat a shump is by grabbing a hammer and teaching it a lesson.

Would you consider finishing an FPS with invincibility cheat beating it? Same thing.

Yes, credit feeding is just as lame as playing GOD mode of Futa-- eh, QUAKE II.
