Can I use my Sanwa Octogonal Restrictor on a Seimitsu Stick?

Post by antares »

One of my Sanwa Sticks is pretty much worn out and I thought about replacing it with a Seimitsu one but afaik Seimitsu doesn't offer octogonal restrictors. Can I use my Sanwa one?

If you have an LS-32, there is a Round restrictor for it. There's also an octagonal restrictor for the LS-56.

As others have said, no, but You could always try some hackery and see what you come up with!

Quite a few peeps mess with sticks - teh Suzo/Sanwa combo favoured by some of our Euro chums springs to mind.

OK, thanks for the replies.

The LS-56 seems to have a longer shaft and bigger deadzones than the LS-32, right? So it doesn't really have an advantage over a Sanwa stick.

I think I'll just replace my old Sanwa with a new one as I'm so much used to the octogonal restrictor.

The LS-56 is probably the tightest Japanese stick out there. Mine feels right at home playing Futari, though yes, the shaft is a bit longer. It has a much different feel than a Sanwa, and is the only Japanese stick I recommend using with Octagonal gates (JLF w/ Octagonal just never felt right to me).
