Any console versions of Ms./Pac-Man that can run in TATE?
Looking to add a little Pac-Man action to the home tate setup if possible...

"Namco Museum Vol.1" for PlayStation has Pac-Man in tate-mode

v. 2 has Super Pac-Man in tate and v. 3 has Ms. Pac-Man in tate. I think they might be reverse tate, though. Keep in mind that, despite having tate, Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man are not arcade perfect ports. The Atari 2600 Jr. Pac-Man sort of runs in tate (scrolls vertically instead of horizontally due to hardware limitations. Not quite the same as tate since the level design was changed to reflect this, as well).

As mentioned in this thread, there is a C64 version of Pac-man with tate.

That reminds me that the DOS Pac-Man clone PC-Man had the same board as the original, but turned on its side. I guess like Jr. Pac-Man 2600, this is pushing it, though. That clone is actually better than the Atarisoft/Thunder Mountain Pac-Man port.

Doesn't this version run in a tate that is upsidedown to standard tate?lewisit wrote:"Namco Museum Vol.1" for PlayStation has Pac-Man in tate-mode

The Ms Pacman pcb´s tate is also the wrong way around. So it is .. well emulated in Namco Museum
