Mills pushed his score up a bit last night (see HiSC Thread). He's scoring just over 1mil for the 1st Loop. I notice that the P38 World Record is 1.2mil for the 1st Loop and maintaining that level of squeeze for the 2nd at around 1.15mil = Overall 2.3mil+.
If you wish to trigger the Alien/Raincoat Man Boss on ST7, position yourself in the left quartile of the screen ie. to the left of your score.
