As some of you may have deduced by the delays, I'm having a few 'production problems' with this adapter. Nothing too drastic, but several minor problems adding up.

Good news is that I currently have boards available to sell. Not as many as expected - only 25 pieces. The rest are mostly complete but I'm waiting for some non-defective parts to arrive which will allow me to finish them off.

Unfortunately, I've had to increase the price slightly to cover extra costs incurred. The final price is AU$100 for Aussies and AU$115 for internationals.

I will send a PM to everybody who expressed interest.

One point I didn't think to ask before: does this pass through both interlaced and non-interlaced signals or just one or the other?

i'd say zero chance that this product affects any signal timing, so what ever you feed it is what you'll get out.

It doesn't make any difference, what goes in comes out.

Yeah, I noticed that the replies were going to you too. I'm not used to sending PMs with multiple recipients...

I've paid in full for 2 units.

I will keep one sealed up just in case one breaks.

Viletim, what are your after sales services like? The reason I ask is because your post count here is entirely related to this product.

Don't worry, I'll make sure that any problems which may arise are sorted out. I don't want anybody feeling ripped off or stuck with something they can't use.

I'm surprised nobody has posted since the email was sent.

Anyone else in the UK getting this product that knows how to revise/solder the parts that are problematic/unreliable?

didn't you get the link with the AVI which shows how to replace the problematic parts?

Very easy to do.

I'm more than likely going to order one of these babies for PS2/DC/Sat, but would this work with an Xbox 360 w/ Scart?

Does anyone have any suggestions on quality Dreamcast, Xbox 360, or PS1/PS2 scart cables?

adapter received! quicker than I expected, all my scart enable consoles are at work :( (yes, work :D)

one question: Is brightness something that is per monitor and contrast something that is per game console? I wonder considering the difference in knob convenience.

Most people probably won't ever need adjust the brightness. Contrast is the same across all consoles (dodgy modifications excepted) so you won't need to play with that control much either.
