TVR - 664,320,605 - 5-1 EX (Ice Palace) - Sakura – XBox360

A regular death festival killed my counter, and then 2 stray suicide bullets at the castle ended my run nice and early. Boo.

(Semi)-Updated!

nZero - is your score for normal mode (Be it 360 or Arcade setting)?

Also, febas, @Alaska-, chempop: Were all you scores for the normal game (not 1.1 or MBL?). I think that's the case from your scores/pics? I've put your scores in the main mode table for now.

And well done all. Congrats on your first cave 1CC febas, and nice climbing up the top 10 Mr. Spencer!

Oops, it's for MBL (360 mode). Although, what else has Sakura playable and the Ice Palace as a stage? :P

Yeah my scores are from normal 360 mode, I've only dabbled with 1.1 and I've yet to delve into the whole mega black label mode (although I'm anxious to see this Ice Palace stage) and give Sakura a try. I've finally broke 100Mil, but I'm going to wait until I can all-clear+EX before I post my next score... hoping I break the top ten when I do 8)

Spadgy, one minor complaint about the tables: they are unreadable due to misaligned fixed-width font. Either replace code tags with quote, or align them in columns. Cheers!

But that's the first time I ever complained about table markup, and it's really warranted.

I agree - and really it's been because of time. I'll try and do something tonight - and if not this weekend. Honestly moozah - you point is well taken. I had to take this thread over pretty pronto, and have been away from home a lot these past weeks. I'm back now though, and fully commited to this thread. I hope it's been an improvement on the last one - I did put the ST links and picture in! It's a start!

Spadgy, you haven't been online with your 360 for an awful long time. Don't sit in front of your computer all the time, play some games! ;)

I've been on Espgaluda for a while now, and my supergun. I needs me a new 360 shooter (unless they add Double-Play score boards to Raiden IV online, then I'm all over that like a rash! Nice to be missed!

MX7 - 69.066.105 - ALL (no EX) - Rosa - X360 Arcade mode

My first go with Rosa and I got the clear, lol. Awful score and I made lots of mistakes, but, y'know, I've only had the game for four days. First time I hit second extend, too. Awesome game.

Welcome MX7 - I've updated with your score and anteres'.

Now, as per the request by moozooh, I've put the table in [quote]s, but really it needs to be in columns I think. Quite a big job on a table of 50, so bit by bit over the week I'll get it done...

GLX - 152,908,195 - ROSA - All-clear EX [4 health] - XBox360 version

Yeah Tyrannosatan is a pain at first. I tend to blow three bombs when its tail starts making boxes, the rest of it I can deal with though on deathmode 1.

Now that I've finally 1CC+EX this I think I may get into 1.1 or perhaps MDL not sure which would make more sense to play next. Anyway, I'm quite content with this score but also very curious to know what it takes to score 400+million...

MASSIVE UPDATE!

Right, so as you can see I've added the columns in as per request (something I wanted to do anyway).

I've also standarised lots of the formatting in the following ways. Any of them you feel could be better, feel free to question any of these changes. In each and every case the new things I've introduced are for the sake of neat, ordely columns. I've saved the 'pre-formatting' versions of this tabl' so any changes can be reversed.

The changes:

• Now 'ALL' = All without EX, whereas 'ALX' = All with EX
• I've made it so the Position/Name/Score/Stage/Character/Format is in the same order in each case
• The board is to CAP AT 50 PLACES! MBL and V1.1 will CAP AT 20!
• I've standardised capitalisation, spellings of names, format names, hypens/dashes, etc., etc., etc.
• I've removed '(Boss)' from where it was, as it's a very small detail and messes up the columns
• For MBL, you can see what I've done with the 'stage' data, but shouldn't SFKhoa's include an EX?
• It's code boxes again!
• I've added O in front of positions one-to-nine, again in the interest of tidy columns
• Thanks to the Japanese (?) chaacters in としまと-HUU's name, that one is unavoidably out of line...

Now to add in the new scores of the week!

You might want to try aligning the last digits of the scores rather than the first digits. Also, you could with very little effort include information about which order people did the extra stages in (so my score, for example, would read "Canyon, Ice Palace" rather than the other way around). Edit: you've entered it that way anyway :)

I think you got in their while I was still tinkering and editing - yours does indeed say 'Canyon, Ice Palace'.

In terms of aligning last digits... perhaps. Right now I'm being dragged to the pub by mates...

Anyway - UPDATED!

Sorry it took a while - I was away for three days taking my mum on holiday. What a son eh?

MX7 - 100,320,908 - STAGE 4.2 (BOSS) - Rosa - 360 (arc)

I tried a new route for this one, and it seemed to work quite well: Lake - 3, Graveyard - 3, Halloween Town - 3, Swamp - 2, Forest - 1, Volcano - 3.

Lake is a really nice level to start with. Deathsythe can be a bit of a pain on rank 3. Playing swamp on rank 2 keeps the rank in check, and gives you an extra life. I use forest on rank 1 as a quick and dirty way to rack up crowns for Volcano, where it's easy for me to pretty much double my score up to that point. It's a shame you get such a massive amount of points from milking the green eyeballs and the falling rocks, but it has to be done. I havn't even thought about fiddling around with the bomb recharge thingy yet.

Stage 4.1 saw a stupid early death, followed by my best run yet. Stage 4.2 was even better, though there is certainly room for improvement. The very short ballroom stage before the final bosses reminds me a lot of stage 5.2 in both ESP Ra.De and ESPGaluda, with the squeaking Alice clones. A nice little bit of stylistic continuity there.

I did alright on Jitterbug (though I bombed again, bah), but for some reason, Tyrannosatan seemed especially hard, and even though I went in with 3 lives, I lost them in stupid, stupid ways. I was pretty certain I would clear it: I obviously jinxed myself.

Updated! Nice climb MX7

Also, I've aligned the last digits of scores as suggested by rabid Ravid, and swapped round the scores of Sonic R and Kenchan so that they're in, you know, the correct order!

Given the level of activity in the MBL board, I wouldn't be so sure. Keep at it; if you skip the EX stages and learn a couple of (easy) scoring strats you'll have a billion point ALL in no time 8)
