grounding an egret 2

my egret arrived last night and is in pretty good nick,screen is bright/unoticeable burn etc..

by the power supply is a grounding wire hanging loose screwed to a grounding post which is screwed into the small wood board in the power supply area.. so if i run the ground wire to the post on the back of the inside of the machine or the post on a transformer will it be correctly grounded?? or will i have to run more ground wires from the metal parts in the cab to this aformentioned post screwed in the wooden power supply area?????
