Sony's two newest BD recorders out for Japanese A/V market

The funny thing is that Sony still is hawking their own U.S. region Blu-Ray players for the North American A/V market. Still no word when they'll release the USA region 1st generation dedicated Blu-Ray recorder machines. If any price indications of past dedicated DVD recorder machines first came out on U.S. A/V retailers' shelves, they were priced at $999.99 USD (like with Panasonic's first DVD recorder machine with it's highly touted DVD-RAM feature). Perhaps, the $1,000 MSRP benchmark would befitting for such a 1st gen USA region BD recorder machine. ^_~
