Daigoro - thanks man. It still doesn't beat my 360 mode Double Play score though. Actually, for now I might get on with DPing Arcade mode on light setting (Still with 'Original' difficulty) just so I can learn the Later stage bosses. I'm still thinking of committing to a DP 1CC on 360 mode, but doing it on arcade mode first might actually speed up the process...

Where are you based? There's a US and JPN release. I'm not sure if the US one is region free. The JPN one isn't.

Took a bit of a break from this game for a bit, got myself a new high score tonight:

I've got my own update as well, that I've been meaning to add for a while.

In short, I've decided to add a hi-score board for Double Play Arcade Mode Light, because:

1. It should encourage more Double Play entrants as it is a little more welcoming.
2. It's great for learning Arcade Mode's Original Double Play setting, as all the enemy patterns emerge from the same spots and so on (when they do appear). That's as opposed to the Solo Play 360 and Arcade modes, where enemies do things like appear from differnet sides in each version
3. While it's 'Light' it's still a challenge worthy of a hi-score table.

All that considered, I had a go, and I managed this - got to the Arcade Mode final boss! Heart racing stuff, it was. Possibly my most exciting credit on any game ever:

Yep. Basically I came to the conclusion the bullets were too small on my 20inch. So I tated my 32inch lcd and it looks sweet actually. I think I might be able to plod along a bit better now, but i spent all day yesterday in awe over the size increase in every game I had.
