Xbox 360 Mode - Original difficulty

I haven't put this in yet, because I need to clarify something. When you say 'Original difficulty' do you mean 'default difficulty'? I only ask as:

• Xbox 360 mode's default is 'Normal' difficulty.
• However, you could change Xbox 360 mode's difficulty to 'Original' difficulty, but we don't have table for that (yet!).

Oh dear. I didn't realize that the table is in the default difficulty. My score is indeed in the slightly harder "arcade" difficulty.

Well I noticed that world ranking just does Normal on default, however I had my non-Live X360 mode set to Original.

In any case... a better score. (No replay on XBL)

No worries people. It's a bit confusing, and the whole ambiguity of 'Normal' and 'Original' being distinct defaults in separate cases doesn't help.

As you'll see, I've added a new table, just for Xbox 360 Mode 'Original' difficulty scores (third table down). I figured that if I was self indulgent enough to include so many Double Play tables, you guys' efforts with Xbox 360 Mode on Original warrented a table of it's own.

I got an similar score for X360 Normal mode upped to XBL, so -- replay available. I wonder who will clear the first loop of 360 mode first, Malik or I? The slower bullets of normal mode I think are throwing off my rhythm from Original mode a little, ha!

I decided I'm gonna try to hit the Arcade mode 2-ALL first, for its shortness compared to X360 mode. Also because there are a few change-ups in the enemy formations which may screw me up switching from mode to mode. In this run I reach the TLB for the first time in 1 credit, but had no bombs or lives remaining, dooming me in its first form . A few silly mistakes in this run brought me short, but next update from me...

Slightly higher score Arcade mode replay is on XBL... this time reached the last form of the TLB. Though, I missed the 2nd extend. If I had it, I would have had the clear; also I probably would have got it if I didn't die on 2-6 going up to the TLB. Argh! Tomorrow probably.

I was sick with a cold the past couple days but regained my composure today and nailed the 2-ALL! I no-missed to 2-5 where I lost one life to the boss there because I didn't have a bomb stock to use in my assassination of that boss. Then I spent my remaining 3 lives on the TLB, it was a wonderful flurry of deaths. Coming out just barely with my last "man". My first 2-ALL *tear*

Next is 360 mode! Then... I'm gonna try to do some boss milking and that bullshit so I can get on the first pages on the rankings. >_> It won't be very hard to slip the extra points I need for that, I think.

Oh man, very close one here, I was near sweating BULLETS at the end. I had an extra life I had to suicide before the TLB so I could get a bomb stock for the quick kill on the TLB's forms. I had to pause at one point to plan this out in my head, heh. However, I died on the 2nd form as I was point blanking it, the timing was off just by a tad. I can't stop! I'll have to cement down the timing on the TLB quick kill and try again soon. I'm very happy that I'm on the first page the X360 rankings now, though.
