Death Smiles Hori Stick?

Post by corbie »

Anyone know what kind of joystick and buttons the Hori Death Smiles joystick features? Or better yet, if you can switch them out with a Seimitsu or Sanwa stick if you wanted to?

It looks like a pretty normal HRAP, so I'd guess Sanwa JLF and Hori buttons, which are fairly easy to switch out. It may not have the mounting plate right for an LS-32, though. HRAP EX owners might be able to tell you more about that.

All this is just a guess, of course.

It's just a regular HRAP EX with some Death Smiles art shoved into it. I'm pretty sure it's going to use the exact same parts as the HRAP EX; Hori buttons and a fake JLF. Simply due to the lack of a PCB to make it common ground, which makes it inherently not a JLF, whilst it can play exactly like one.

Anyone get their hands on one of these Death Smiles Hori sticks yet? If so, can you stick a Seimitsu LS-32 stick in that baby?

I have two, and one is for sale if anyone is interested (PM me ;))....

It's just like your typical HRAP EX for 360, crappy Hori buttons and a JLF (really, a JLF? for a shootan game 'stick? okay...).

I have some pics of the guts...
