Fallout 3, just finished the main quest. I've reloaded the pre-end save and started going round finishing off the sidequests and leveling up to the max. Superb game imo. Lots of atmosphere and the map is just the right size.
Also been playing a lot of Guitar Hero 3 and 4. 5* most of medium on both and moving on to hard now. Just a few I'm struggling with really. Satch's Boogie is tough, and I hate anything Vai-ish so struggle to get the motivation up to learn them. I initially dismissed these games as I can already play several instruments. How wrong was I?

I liked it but not as much as I did Killer 7. The gameplay is repetitive although it was funny and original.GateofThunderforceIII wrote:DBH87, what do you think of No More Heroes? If you could give it a score, can you give a figure? I'm about to go after the number one assassin, but have to earn enough money for the entrance fee. It's really entertaining, even though the gameplay and stage designs are merely okay, I think.

Currently (re)playing:
Doom
Spelunky
Call of Duty + UO (just finished replaying CoD2)
Sonic CD
Star Trek: Armada
Meteos
Bangai-O Spirits
Contra 4
Planet Puzzle League
I'd also like to be replaying Star Wars Rebel Assault 2, but the damn thing doesn't work in XP, apparently...
I also anticipate playing Mirror's Edge sometime this week, on the PC.

After reading about the patch's author taking over game servers and doing other apparently shady things, I installed Crystal Faction for a reported (unnecessary of course) 30% increased performance!!11 and dual core fixes the first time I installed Red Faction. It's managed to temporarily kill parts of Symantec Endpoint, like the proactive threat detection, which is remarkable. The end of the game should be coming soon and I can't wait to get that thing off my drive.
Spent the winter break playing the hell out of Day of Defeat: Source after replaying Condition Zero (lol). Can barely stand to think DoD now. I managed to keep my finger off the chat button most all of the time, but I am filled with loathing for voice chat in Steam. Can't really play without it though.
Will have to finish up Banjo Kazooie on the N64 emulator sometime.

JoJo's Venture [and still sucking at it, I'm not comfortable with it].
Man, I really should bother to play more N64 games [notably Super Smash Bros.]...

Man, the PC port pisses me off since abso-fuckin'-lutely NOBODY plays it.Damocles wrote:"The Club"
A bunch. Mostly multiplayer. It loses the point of the SP game, but is great fun with 8 people.
Plus there's all that shit about gold versus silver Live accounts. RARGH. The fuck would I want to pay Microsoft money so I can host multiplayer, which I've been able to do for years on PC without paying that money? Especially for just the one game...
I tried the PC demo of the Club. The port is AWFUL. No wonder no one plays it. The game itself seems neat in concept, but I can't stand to play a shooter based around accuracy with such poor aiming controls.Ed Oscuro wrote:Man, the PC port pisses me off since abso-fuckin'-lutely NOBODY plays it.Damocles wrote:"The Club"

Also, a gold live account on the PC is free, it has been for a while now. No one would pay for it for exactly the reason you describe: PC gamers have never had to pay for online play (with the exception of MMOs). I think it was just ridiculous that Microsoft would have the gall to even try and charge us for that, which makes me hate their Windows Live service even now that it's free and a few games I actually want to play are using it (Dawn of War II, for one, I will probably not get SOLELY because of Windows Live). Of course I hated it from the get-go because it's made by Microsoft, but that's another story.

neat, I just played a handful of credits earlier this week.GaijinPunch wrote:Tumble Pop
I was half watching football and pounding beers, hence the credit feeding.
correct me if this is wrong: the idea is to vacuum a few enemies before the vacuum overloads, and then to spit out the ball of enemies and have it rebound down the platforms to kill anything in it's path. And then there are all the secret letters, coins, and jewels that appear.
Cool game, if not a little gay.

I have been having net/box problems- all should be squared away now. I gotta catch you next time you're on- the club is a fun game. Been having more fun with it than I did with Quantum of Solance (or Quantum of 2 sittings )Damocles wrote:No kidding. You practically need a group of friends to fill out a game session here on XBL.

Started playing Ghosts and Ghouls again lately. I've been playing it for years on and off and can sometimes get to level 5 bee boss on a credit. It all depends on the whim of the game. Goddamn game is evil. Especially when it makes you run into shitty weapons.

Got some Rock Band drums yesterday for cheap so been playing through some of the easier GHWT songs to practise.I'm all set up for some party fun now so will have to get some folks over. It's a shame the vocals in this game completely suck really.
Just finished Fallout 3 for the first time and had some fun. Lots of stuff I didn't do though. I think I was only level 14 at the end of the game as well. Everything falls really quickly too so I guess I just made a good build.
I've just started Ninja Gaiden 2 and blasted through the first 2 chapters with no problems at all. The arrow guys are quite annoying though. I need to spend some time memorising the different moves and combos.
