post about our game to non-development sections of "shm

Once we are done development, or perhaps even before, should we post about our game to non-development sections of "shmups forum"? I am assuming the developers section attracts a different audience.

You should do it when you're done at least. Japanese games gets their own thread all the time. Your game shouldn't be treated any different.

I have done this myself and had some success. Many people do not venture into the development section thanks to amatures cobbeling together garbage that they never finish. Why not post on shmup_dev too with updates.
