I clicked through to the Parse Rorunpe site when checking out the links. Does anyone know anything about this game or company beyond what's on the site? It seems like some kind of Virtual On + DS touchscreen + deckbuilding game maybe. It's probably gonna be crap, and it looks kinda fruity and also very doujin-like, but shit, at least it's interesting.
It seems like companies from Taiwan (like this game), Korea, China, etc often try to innovate and do wacky things (since they're unconstrained by an established history of game development) and while most of it falls flat on its face, there's got to be some great relatively unknown shit out there. So does anyone have any expertise on non-western, non-Japan games? Or know of any site that focuses on this? Thanks.
