Sequel to Radirgy - Radirgy Noa
Sequel to Radirgy - Radirgy Noa
According to a new Milestone ad, they're making a sequel to Radirgy, as well as two other games with its characters in them.
No word on their official website yet though.

Of course, that's just an opinion.

I look forward to playing these!
Three games, though? Kind of a stretch for cash, not knowing what they contain.
I also like playing shoot 'em ups on the Wii. Plus the Wiimote works great for the NES and SNES shmups. Crisis Force is fun. I hope more shmups comes to the system.

Such a fine character of Milestone's 2006 shooter Radilgy can be compared with the artistic story of Gradius, that other individuals such as pixeljunkie may play for. ^_~pixeljunkie wrote:anyone who says that hasn't spent enough time with it. Actually I was talking about the actual game here. Your argument can be used for practically any game to ever exist, despite their ratings, enjoyment and popularity.. therefore your argument is terrible. I've put about 25 hours into Radilgy and that's enough to know I won't be getting those hours back. The game is half-assed and something I'd expect to see at the next Comiket. Seriously, it felt like a flash game that I'd see on newgrounds, and it didn't feel like they put much effort into the game. Kind of like the rest of Milestone's games.
I did, but I mostly played for score. Some games I don't mind playing if they have enough variety to allow you to play strictly for survival as well, which is why Futari, Ikaruga and Ketsui are so great. But when games just become dedicated to strategic bombing (MoF, Ketsui DS, MMP) or games that require you to do specific things (ie. not fuck up your flow of play in dodonpachi), it gets tiring.RackGaki wrote:I don't put twenty-five hours into anything I hate. The most I've ever given a game I hate is eight hours, and it's usually closer to two. Did you have to 1cc it a few times to figure out you didn't like it?
When I realized that the game was not difficult nor did it have variety, I stopped caring about the scoring system.
They published Chaos Wars. Brilliant English voice acting if I do say so myself.sfried wrote:O3.Elixir wrote:Who were the people who planned on releasing the Gamecube version in the US? They might pick it up.
Have they ever released anything definitive after that incident?

Hahaha, I tip my hat to you. All your objective criticism is dead-on. There's just something about it that clicks with me. I prefer the art direction of Karous, but the gameplay of Radil(r)gy. There's plenty I would change about the game myself. I still like it though.Elixir wrote:Such a fine character of Milestone's 2006 shooter Radilgy can be compared with the artistic story of Gradius, that other individuals such as pixeljunkie may play for. ^_~pixeljunkie wrote:anyone who says that hasn't spent enough time with it. The sarcasm is strong with this one.Elixir wrote:They published Chaos Wars. Brilliant English voice acting if I do say so myself.
