At first I was intimidated by some of the scores but actually this game has exponential scoring like woah.

Edit: Grats spineshark! Somehow I think the results of this tourney would be a lot different for everyone if the average game was more bullet hell-ish as opposed to the older style which comprises most of what can run on MAME.

Damnation, I screwed up on the fourth boss! I had a bunch of extends and bombs, and still managed to screw up. When that fourth boss finally falls, my score will be huuuge (by my standards)! Then it's on to Stage 5...

i strategically bombed my way through 2-2 this time, got to 2-3 with no lives left and had an incredible little swansong once i completely ran out of bombs, lasting from the start of that bridge at the end all the way up to the boss. score ain't that great over my previous one though... i think i actually need to not bomb even if i have tons of the things going to waste i guess

i nearly forgot to take a screenshot too wouldn't that have been embarassing!!

I might be done, I feel helpless to improve this since this is way better than I typically do (read: lucky) and also there's the slight problem that I hate this game. I'll try some more, but I already spent more time this week than any other week due to random tons of free time.

Jesus.. writing my thesis was a piece of cake compared to figuring out Progear scoring mechanics.
