By no means did I want to sound racist to the Japanese people.
I say Jap instead of Japan or Japanese.
Japanese culture is very interesting.
The fact that they had a parallel medieval/feudal type of period with Europe, their type of Castles & Samurais instead Knights & their distinctive Eastern type of Armours in contrast to the Chain Mail, Scale & Plate armours of Western Europe & Byzantine, is so cool
Don’t forget the Katana swords either…
Plus they gave us Anime, Macross & they perfected the Shmup genre as we know it.
If that's not cool then what is?

Still, there's some interesting things in both galleries.
Horizontal ships are more condusive to being made into girls. The vert ones would have the girls flying around on their backs, instead of facing their enemies.
