Dangun has fast ships and discomen. Macross and Game Tengoku have slow ships and no discomen. The choice is obvious.
Also, the other two games are terrible. I consider that a bit of a flaw.
Because the time attack mode is at the same time easy to learn, but hard to master
. Everyone's going to pick it anyway.
Disco dudes + Cheesy music + Fast-paced action = pewpewpewlollercopters
I thought they were high when they made tanks on parachutes in 19xx, but this beats everything.

Game Tengoku not good working on mame
Macross 2 is boring
Because the others games have a linear scoring system.
It's a Cave game, therefore it's an awesome game.
Simply because Dangun is the game I enjoyed the most. Macross didn't appeal to me and Game Paradise make my ears bleed.

Because among the three games, Dangun Feveron is the more short.
Macross II sucks and Game Tengoku is an unplayable mess in MAME. Plus, I like disco and, of course, shots bullits at bad man. FEVER~!

As my least played Cave game, it's about time I put some work into it.
shmup + disco = WIN. And it's a Cave game. And the scoring system is one of the best ever made. And all the others completely sux.

The time attack mode in this is so very unlike Cave games in a Cave game that is also unlike Cave games, or something. It's a combination of a manic shooter and a caravan game, which is a melding of genres that are better left unmelded, and for that reason I really enjoy it. Despite the generous bombs and infinite lives, it's obvious that you're expected to last the level without dying and using a minimum of bombs for max score. It's like the essence of later Cave titles has been distilled down into a 3-minute lump of craziness, and it's tons of fun.
I would add a reason for this vote, but sik's criteria are too harsh when I only played the other games for 10 minutes each.

Dangun Feveron is one of my favorite shmups ever, so it was an easy choice.

Macross II

Even though it may not be as quick as the other Caravan choices (2 minutes x 3 levels), I just get the joy of getting point bonuses for accomplishing certain things. Also, I don't like disorientation in shmups (especially due to emulation issues) and I don't really like point-blanking things just so I can try to decently score in vain of an extremely fast-paced shmup.

Why = After playing all three games for a bit, The Game Paradise was ruled out right away. The glitches aren't that bad, but they're bad enough that I don't want to spend a week staring at them. Dangun Feveron seemed like a fun game, and who can resist that disco beat. However, SSFM2 struck me as a the most enjoyable of the three in my short play times, and it's the one that I think I can improve the most at. So, I'm going with SSFM2.
Macross, 'cause I'm kinda old-school, 'cause playing with a graphic bug sucks and because Dangun Feveron Time Attack is too hard/crazy for just one week...

No good reason. Feels like I just ain't good enough for the other two.
Decent game with some good scoring opportunities, some obvious, some not so obvious. 4 Stages means 1 mistake won't kill your whole run (in general, though some mistakes are still costly). Also its a relatively unplayed game by forum standards, there isn't even a high score thread for it so hopefully we should have a pretty level playing field. Unlike Dangun Feveron which will be a total walkover for the Cave enthusiasts. Not that any of this matters because Dangun Feveron will win anyway.
I want to try Macross II out, and I can't stand Dangun Time Attack.
