N+ really this good?
http://ds.ign.com/articles/902/902456p1.html That's a pretty glowing review! It does look pretty easy, however, is it worth picking up? I'm down with classic gameplay, as I still play a lot of Atari 2600 games.

Trek trough the Galaxy on silver wings and play football online.
It´s interesting how this and Bangai-O Spirits basically fall into the same category of small-sprite small-levels action/puzzle plus level editor type of games. Can´t wait to see how this turns out. I really start liking these type of games, and especially the level editing part
What´s also nice is that this title is very minimalistic, which might be a nice distraction from the over-the-top Spirits. Now THAT`S what I call "old-school revival"!
Here´s hoping that (looking also at Braid) that these games will get as popular as the endless waves of arena shooters.

Well, I stink at it, but it is pretty fun. I didn't see any option to use a controller for the PC port, which I'm sure I'd do better with.Nuke wrote:http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/n.html

I played the original N to death last year...managed to complete 400 of the 500 levels.
While it's fun, it's EXTREMELY frustrating, especially on the later levels. The amount of restarts you'll have to do and the difficulty will make you want to punch the monitor or something. You'll really need perseverance on this one.
If you ever try to play N seriously, check the forums and look for the 'Ninja College' maps. They'll teach you some very helpful tricks and make your life a little bit easier.

Dave google for a program called joy2key. It will map your joystick buttons to keys on the keyboard. So you'd just map start to spacebar, one of the face buttons to shift, etc.
n+ for xbla was well worth the 10 bucks, and it's certainly worth 20 too, especially if you're getting new features and the ability to take it with you. It's pretty easy to make decent levels too.

QFT. The game is really easy early on but gets stupidly challenging. A great test of patience.Ruldra wrote: While it's fun, it's EXTREMELY frustrating, especially on the later levels.
