still doesn't matter, even if you can 1cc, if you miss a single enemy on one of the first levels you might as well start over if you want a really high score

heres an example: I was playing last night, just to figure out the game and see the levels. I knew nothing about the ranking and scoring. After 4 trys I could get to level 6

There's my score at around half way threw level six, barely 2 million. I looked in this thread and saw people had 2-3 million just by level 3

Hopefully I get the 1cc by the end of the week, thats all I really am aiming for as these speed boss killing and trying to kill all enemies shit is annoying.

Also, I play with auto off and didn't lose a life until stage 6. lol.

Had a 'reasonably close to almost being near optimal' run, every boss in the first three levels went down with an S Rank. Then, when I started Stage 4, I accidentally took laser. Then I cursed a bit, tried to make do with just that. Then it turned out I suck with it and miss enemies, I died, decided that I want double spread, suicided and took double spread from the two upgrades my wreckage left. Then I rammed into a bullet from an enemy and was left without a life in the middle of stage 4.

But hey, at least I milked the fourth boss with an S Rank, so it's not THAT bad yet, right?

Also first time I saw stage 5 in-game, and considering my 'slightly' low life reserves, I survived quite long.

Ugh, what a crappy score.

It's frustrating when you collect all medals in the stage, then die on the boss and your medal count goes to 0. The high multiplier doesn't mean anything with 0 medals.

yea, not only do you have to kill every enemy, you also cant die after about half way into a stage

Im actually getting worse at this game. subtle movements are forgotten and s-rank turns into a-rank. So I guess I soon have to re-learn the whole thing.
