Genesis video ghosting

Post by t0yrobo »

I just recently got a model 1 Genesis that I modded with composite output. The problem is it has a bit of horizontal ghosting. There's a ghost about 1 inch to the right all the time. It's only really noticeable on text but it makes the picture look bad all the time and is distracting.
On the plus side the stereo sound works just fine.I can't find anything about it with google though, just the Ghostbsters game  . Anyone have any ideas?

Edit:
I messed around a bit more and I know now that it's some sort of interference from the audio. It looks fine with just the video plugged in. Also this is the guide I used http://www-unix.ecs.umass.edu/~dhowland/mod/

why would you need to mod it for composite output? Doesn't it do that natively?
You're arguing for a universe with fewer waffles in it. I'm prepared to call that cowardice.

Yeah it does, but not stereo, and I bought it with no cord.
