How about racism in games? I guess game makers were too intellectual to have thoughts like that, but I wonder. Even if it would be borderline I would like to see.

interesting stuff. They should start a museum of racism somewhere. Of how it began and big historical racist events.

Little known fact, the pilots of all the enemy ships in Dodonpachi are actually black. It doesn't come up much in the game but it's true!

Didn't some Call Of Duty toys cause some controversy in the U.S?

The fact number 10 advertises 'No Burnt Cork, No Muss' is most surreal, as if it betters rival kits. Were they really that popular that others existed? Were there that many people using them regularly enough to know of cork related problems?

That´s the one from i-mockery.com, right? They made a good point by wondering how in the hell nobody could see how obvious this is during production. On the other hand, I find it hard to believe they DID want to spread a political message via a cheap board game.

I found it not on i-mockery, but in the mag64.de forums (fun thread).
@elfhentaifan: i totally understand your problem with it. with all nazi-stuff in general. i even freak out when people say we should have "national pride" or something. they always refer to america when they say that.
i can't feel proud for germany. (and i think same should go out to america. invading small nations is not cool.)

I lived in Germany for a while. What do you think of the children's book 10 Kleine Negerlein (10 Little Niglets)?

it happened a long time ago, yeah it was really bad but you got a slap on the wrist and its done with now. The majority of the people who survived the war are dead. i think its fair to say the people who were killed becuase the political rules going on during the war would just like to get on with there lives too. besides return to castle wolfenstein is a really fun game.

EDIT: i'm more worried about the stuff thats going on right now. American history X anyone?
