Just record yourself saying "fresssshhhhh" and "all this scratching is making me itch" and pitch it up.

Get every Dirtstyle record you can, especially DJ Butchwax's (Flare) Hee-Haw Brayks (I used it on the video I posted a while back). One entire side is nothing but classic scratch samples and some old computer noise, including NBA Jam's "OH MY HE'S ON FIRE". Like all Dirtstyle records, the scratch samples are put together to match a certain BPM, and there's nearly no silence in between each noise which is something a lot of other battle records feature, which is basically just wasted space. Check out Deluxe Shampoo Breaks, Black Market Snuff Breaks, and Toasted Marshmellow Breaks (all by Dirtstyle as well) as well.
I really don't like too many of the other battle records out there, usually because of the silence in between samples and because usually the beats on the records are way shorter than any DS record. I picked up Arcade Breaks, and while a few of the beats are amazing most of them are under 2-3 minutes. I end up getting into a groove scratching, and then whoops...song over. DJ Swamp's first scratch tool had these problems as well, but he tossed that guitar tone into the mix that really good DJ's can do amazing things with (witness Kentaro).
Also vinyl DJ' s >>> CD DJ's.

as for kentaros bit I doubt i could do that with pioneers. Well technicaly you could but you would have to have the three places to go with the guitar record. with the point mark buttons. (four with the techincs version of the 1000 which I hate)
The story so far
I was in a club about a week before i left to JP and I had convinced the current DJ (I guy I used to DJ with way back) to let me have a go if but on the condition I did some scratching. they had dizzies fix up look sharp

which is pretty prime for playing with. so I juggled the beat a little and mostley was tooling around with the OOOOOOoooiiiiiiii! at the start. I ended up doing ok considering ive not touched decks for about a year and a half now. and some guy was asking me weather i wanted to try out for his band. I said i would try since i need something becuase i cant sit at a pc all day and night.

I could yap on in great lengths about how fantastic they are. I jumped on to the CD band wagon when they first launched the pioneer 1000s I was one of the first people in the UK to buy in to them. I used to tell people about them and I would have people who had never even touched a turntable (CD or otherwise) lecture me about how im not a real DJ.
If there good enough for felix the house cat, DJ shadow, Armen van helden and . . . just about anyone else. then there good enough for me.

Just fyi - there was a battle record that had 1 side of all Atari sounds (arcade, computer) and the second side was Comodore 64 sounds. I used it in a routine I was working on and there were too many good samples to count. Scratching the Frogger theme song will bring the house down. You use to be able to buy the vinyl over at Turntable Lab, but it loolks like they have something close on CD -JS-One Video Game Breaks
