Yay, we're getting a new pup today!

Post by Super Laydock »

I am so excited about this that I just needed to share...

Almost 2 years ago our dog Kasper died after being the best company in the world for about 13 years. Quite shocking it was or us as he was considered an important part of our family.

But we've grieved enough now and for a few months we've been looking to get a new puppy.

Only requirement: having a nice temperament and good company.

Well just today we found what we searched for and are going to visit and probably get him today. :D

It's a Kooiker pup.

If we take him home today I will make sure to post some pics and maybe a small vid of him.

Why ?
It's not like that cat can eat it anymore....

Congrats, Super Laydock on getting a new puppy... ^_~

My first Queensland Heeler dog had the unfortunate means of farting. Sometimes I'd be petting him and he'd let a silent one out. And quite smelly too like that of a human fart. But alas, he couldn't help it... ^_~

Congrats, Laydock! :)

My sis is actually getting a kitten soon...I'm worried that her present (full-grown) cat won't take to it very kindly though...

Thank guys for the congrats and all. :D

We just came back and he's very tired after a long car ride, saying goodbye to his parents and brothers and discovering our garden and home.

But let me present you: Koiko Sproet (Sproet will be his calling name).

Sproet means "freckle" in Dutch and if you watch his snout carefully you'll see the reason why.

Without furher ado:

COOL DOG! +1 post.

What are you doing for post-family separation jitters? We had our dog sleep with a clock the first night.

freckles are so damn sexy.

By the way, that name would be cool in Italian too: he would be "Lentiggine" :)

Thanks guys!
We're very happy with him too. Even only being here just over a day he's turning out to be little rascal already. :P

What 1/4 finals?
Euro 2008? Doesn't ring a bell...

Seriously though, I can live with a better playing team kicking us out of the tournament. If Russia plays like last 2 matches they would be a deserved winner.

No, but I have a bank account though.
Feel free to ask me all the details (except my PIN) about that to contribute. :P
So how long was the car ride ?
A well, it was only 90 KM ride, but for us and him it seemed to last forever...
DEL wrote: I forgot....how did your fall out of a plane go :?:
To make a long story short: I ran into some financial trouble that weekend and had to cancel...
But having the great friends that I do have, it's gonna happen soon anyway. :D

I'll keep you posted and post a pic or something.

Somehow I think it would not be up to me for breaking the seal myself.;)
I doubt anything plastic and vulnerable would last even near a day near to Sproet... :P
