Laptop

Post by NAVVARR »

One of my mates is wanting to buy a laptop - price range £200 -£300.

Should he go for something new or second hand??

-any advice anyone?- also, anyone know any decent bargains??

Cheers!

Depends on what exactly does your mate want from a laptop. Though I wouldn't expect anything good for that kind of money unless it's used.

try cash convertors or CEX, that way you can get it cheap on second-hand, but being high street stores, you'll also get a warranty with it as well :) 90 days is usually the norm

I've got a Dell Vostro 1000 (with 1GB RAM for some reasons  ) with English/Irish keyboard map that my company gave me "discounted" and I thought that it was better than mine.

I used it a couple of times, realized that my actual laptop was 10 times better (but 5 times the price), put it back in the box and it's there rotting away.
If he wants it...
Alas, Ikaruga is going...

Undesired, unwanted them...
What makes them go?

An eee PC (or similar device) would fit his needs just fine.
Plus the price is right as well.
