I'm sure it wasn't me because it is this one. Would be better if it was edited or later stages. Too many stage 1 and/or 2 videos around. Of everything.

Yeah, in MY VIDEO I tried to play for score and got the diamond vacuum at the end of stage 1. A proud moment.

Nice videos, always a pleasure to watch them.

I like the idea of commenting other players, and that dialogue you made on the gigawing video.
Perhaps it would be better if you could you mute the player while you're talking, making it easier to listen to and even more like a dialogue.

And im quite disappointed with you calling him a retard. As I think you said earlier, Shmup is a man's game so you should've call him a sissy instead!

I got a really sissy comment in the Ikaruga review, too. "Hating popular games" or something like that. It's like people can't pay attention. I was praising Halo 3 in the same video. Tiny bit more popular than Ikaruga. That was half the point of including it!

I look like a douchebag in that.

halo rules!

i made some montage videos of halo 2 a while back and put some clips of me playing DOJ in there, i'd post a link but luckely it's not on the site anymore as you'd all make fun of me for playing on level 5, which i can't get to on one credit, and dying every 10 seconds :P

Hey Rob, your reviews are gold. See you posted a new axelay vid. It's very hard to understand what you're saying. Is this intentional?

^^ Well well, your post confirms that my sanity isn't completely rotten yet.

@Rob
It's a shame i can barely understand what you're saying in that Axelay vid.
Maybe you should have turned the other guy's volume down a bit?

"You go on my podcast, you go on my blog, you go on my forums..."

"You have any questions about the first minute thirty seconds of Axelay, you send them right on to me"

Yep, that's the consensus. I didn't mean to make it that bad, honest.

I really hope to see more reviews from you in the future. I know that you said that covering console shmups is boring but there is a great wealth of material to draw from there Rob.
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.

I don't find the other guy's voice to be a problem regarding comprehension but the warbling is. was the sound fine before it was uploaded? or did you check?

You could still burn it on a CD and sell it as "avantgarde noise" or something.

Here's someone else who needs some Giga Wing tips. At least the guy in Rob's vid knew about the reflect shield...

He did a Giga Wing 2 review where you said he forgot to mention the relfector in the first game.

Those are the ultimate casual gamer reviews (to make myself sound like king nerd). Hard to even find offense with them because he doesn't really say anything ("you power-up" "bombs do damage" "4 players, that must be great!"). Missing the reflect force entirely is hilarious. Too bad the scoring system isn't obvious enough to mention.

He kinda mentioned the rank, which to be honest, isn't very obvious in Giga Wing. He must know his games very well!

His Mars Matrix review is equally lame but he saves his face palm moment for his review of Shikigami No Shiro where he says "it seems like the best thing to do in this game is purposefully get yourself killed so you can keep using your bomb attack".

raizing style suicides without unlimited extends lol

edit: hm, looks like there are lots of extends if you play well, like at least 16 for WR scores...

Its a great tactic, shame you can only do it 3 times, a bit like using a bomb really.

Pro tip: Pressing start on the gameover screen gets you another 3 lives/9 bombs!
