(First post here.)
My friend Barrett and I came up with this idea after looking at the Pokedex Gijinka thing going on at deviantART.
Focusing on G Darius for now, and also including Crusty Hammer & Titanic Lance from Darius Gaiden, we had this idea to make the boss ships, which were somehow re-created to same size specifications over time by my main character, into girl (and a few boy) characters after they were engulfed by a light and energy explosion from the All-Spark. (don't ask XP)
Now, they can change size, then transform into robot forms that look VERY human-like. In fact, I just today thought of giving them fully human forms for when they don't want to be cooped up in a hangar and instead wanna see the world. Though they'd still be able to fire bullets and such to defend themselves XP -- Oh, right, all this is on Earth.
(This has taken place in our Yahoo RP group over the past couple of days. The thought of making this into a similar thing to the Pokedex Gijinka just occurred to me today.)
I was just curious to see if anyone else here thought this project was a good idea, even if just for kicks. Though, really, if ANYONE wanted to try and draw robot forms for them, or even representative human forms with outfits that'll throw back to their two different color schemes, that'd be great. I'd love to try and attempt this myself, but unfortunately I have ZERO real drawing ability. >.<*** That pisses me off big time.
After a couple of posts, I'll piece together mine and Barrett's initial thoughts for the looks and/or attitudes\mannerisms of some of these boss ships and put them here. Hopefully those thoughts will get some kicks out of you guys like they did for us. XD
In the meantime, SLEEEEEEEEP beckons. Class awaits in the morning.

[P.S: Would anybody have any ideas as to what fishes the Captains in G Darius are? That's always bugged me ever since I first saw them....]
