DVD or Blu?

If its blu i'll take it for £30.
Its DVD and Mr Tony Montana has now reserved it for £30, subject to him having a multi region DVD player.

Cheers, DEL

Did we come to any solution for the TV situation? How many are needed? How many Super Guns will be there? I have a 14" Tate-happy RGB TV I could bring down if absolutely necessary, but I may only be able to make it there early morning and after 7PM. Are you going to be there all day Del? I understand there are plans to go to Trocadero so I don't know what we would do with equipment during that period.

Well that's the thing :? . A portable screen would be best. So thanks for the offer, but it would be too inconvenient for you :) .
So the problem of lightweight screen capable of playing my supergun....remains

tv setup or monitors in a car with pcb+superguns , that would pimp the ride too :)

supergun+ little screen lightweight on a suitcase ? yes some do it :

way cheaper, light 10" crt tv exist. that would be better benefit to transport.

I'll be there at about that time.

I do have about £135 worth of CEX vouchers, which is next door to Casino, and they do sell second hand monitors. Perhaps we could get one for that and then return it after the weekend....

Sadly I don't need one to purchase permanently...

I like that idea. We could all chip in a bit toward however much cash you'd expect to lose when selling it back to them and that'd probably only cost us a quid or two each, assuming these are reasonably priced monitors which might not be the case with CEX. Are they analogue or digital?

But what about the pcbs? Could people confirm for definite which boards they will be bringing?

That sounds reasonable. I'll bring the vouchers and we'll see what we can work out... IF of course there's a monitor for that cheap....

I've just realised something - the VGA converter I have access to only uses svideo and composite for it's input, but Del's supergun uses RGB scart, so that could knacker the plan of using a monitor very slightly

Can anybody bring a suitable converter?

It was in the air for some time, but cannot be changed now...
I unfortunately must confirm I am not making my flight tomorrow. :(

Also I might have to take some timee off from the forum and internet for some time after this weekend.
Hope it won't be too long.

Had you actually paid for your flight Super Laydock?

If so, that would be the 3rd  wasted ticket for this Meet.

Yes, was a 0,01 Euro ticket with only 25 Euro or so airport tax though, so it's ok.
Hadn't booked the hostel luckily as I knew this could come up (told you so last January).

btw, the large number of canceled or not taken flights are one of the reasons Ryanair can offer them as cheap as they can.

Right - the wife say she can bring her proper camera down to film a bit, if everyones happy with that. In return I have to do some camera talking for some documentry she's part of the crew off, which I I hate to do but will do.

Will Jon mind us filming?

And come on - who's there tonight? I'll be around from about 7pm - 9pm, though I might be convinced to stay later. As for the rest of the meet, I'm there for everything night and day...

It's true I could pick up a monitor from Cex and refund it for the full value when we've finished with it, but Cex only sell LCD monitors. Finding one of those with an RGB scart connection is about as simple as a 2 loop no miss 1CC on Dai Ou Jou. With your feet.
