I LOVED this cartoon back in MTV's Liquid TV days (I'll have to find out if A.F. is on DVD), and this fall there's a movie and a game being made out of the series!
Unfortunately the movie won't be animated-but man oh man, what I wouldn't give to see a well-done cell-shaded Aeon Flux game for the PS2!!
And BTW, Dragon Warrior VIII has been pushed up to November of this year; check out these awesome vids!:
Yeah, I saw a screen of this in the new EGM. The way that actress was posing made me think of Resident Evil Apocolypse, so here's hoping that it can at least rise above that flop. If Uwe Bowle comes anywhere near it I'll have to go on a kill-crazy rampage.

Uwe Boll = this generation's answer to Al Adamson. Heh, he's got three more videogame-related movies in the works, according to IMDb.
I heard the game isn't going to have the same style of animation as the cartoon :-\
With that said the only MTV cartoon I liked back in the day was The Head. I was fascinated by it for some reason when I was a young kid. I was bored by Aeon Flux, never really saw The Maxx.
If you like Aeon Flux check out Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury, a joint project between the Pitch Black and Aeon Flux creative teams. It has slightly higher production values than Aeon Flux did.
