I am kind of a funny fellow.Twiddle wrote:Twin Eagle 2? Pretty?
I saw this review of Mars Matrix and Giga Wing2 once. The guy doing the review said that Mars Matrix looked ugly and Giga Wing2 looked gorgeous. I find the opposite true, I guess I just love limited textured games.
I did great so much water and milk that I threw up when I was little.
Sorry this was awhile ago at one of those little known indie gaming journalism sites. I'll keep looking for it though.
EDIT: Didn't Limbrooke just post something?
EDIT:Nevermind.

Up = up/right, down= down/left etc. Instead they made it the goofiest possible setup to ensure that you couldn't have fun.
#70 Ghost Pilots (SNK, 1991)
My most hated style of game: 194x or Fire Shark (Sega Genesis port) or any other generic war-theme shooter filled with kamikaze pilots. I get so bored it is impossible not to get hit by them. Then a boss will give you less than half of an already shrunken/crowded screen to dodge some fast pattern. Decent graphics +1 pt.

f17: stop quoting the entire post ffs. I'm glad you agree, though. It is the right opinion to have.
#69 Thunder Dragon (NMK, 1991)
Like Gyrodine and Under Defeat, you have a helicopter that can be tilted about 15° in either direction. In Thunder Dragon it is nearly impossible to dodge anything. The best strategy is to not move during boss patterns. If a pattern looks like you can slide through it, you can't. Later in the game new bombs will be available every 30 seconds to make up for their lack of solid game design. Beautiful view of Saturn from the helicopter cockpit there. Sweet.

How hard is it to kill those things? It could be a blast killing those things from the bottom corner if they take little to kill.Rob wrote:"hey, let's dump a bunch of shit on the screen at once"shoe-sama wrote:wtf is going on in the 2nd screen?
"OK"
As much as I hate GP's, I sure do love it's graphics.

It makes the page so much easier to read if you don't quote all those pictures and stuff. Most people will just scroll through to see the next few pics to see what the next game in the sequence is. Especially when you're just gonna write one line about it. If someone's reading the thread they've read it already, you don't need to show it all again just to put your one line of comment in context.

Next time use proper English skills and don't use "u" for you and "shud" for should.
I'm not making fun of you, but I tend to have a hard time trying to understand terrible English.
