For me it'd be a choice between Giga Wing and 19XX, depending on which I'm in the mood for (both made my Top 25, I forget which placed higher, if that matters). None of the games listed are bad, however (except maybe 1944 :P).

Gonna have to go with 19xx(although I haven't had a chance to play Dimahoo yet).

I like all of the games here that I've played (haven't played 1944) or I wouldn't have bothered with this grouping. A nice selection. Imagine all of these games in a compilation. Best comp.

Progear is clever, not at all boring, and easy to look at. MM is mind blowing. I voted for MM.

It's difficult to decide between Mars Matrix and 19XX... I'm going to vote for MM, genius gameplay

Except for Eco Fighters, I'm played all the games quite a bit. Hard choice, but Giga Wing wins even though I think the graphics are okay at best, the music is complete blargh, and the characters and story are absurd and borderline retarded. But I love the gameplay. Making a game with a shit-ton of bullets is one thing, but giving you another option besides weaving and bombing through them was pretty cool and the score system that accompanies the game is fun.

Dimahoo is a solid #2 in my book. Great game.

Giga Wing.

1944 feels wrong, 19XX never clicked, and Dimahoo just has too much crap going on. The rest, however, are ace...though Progear just feels a bit sloppy to me.

Dimahoo. Progear got boring after a little while for me. And I just don't see the brilliance of Mars Matrix yet.

I liked 19xx- and I wanted to give it a good vote because I didn't think ti would've gotten many. With that being said- Progear is currently the game I go to. I love it to death- and think apparantly I need to give mars matrix a shot...I hated that game to no end when I first played it.

For me 19XX and Dimahoo nick it.. can't decide on which I like most ;)
They are both by far the most fun of the CPS-2 shmups batch IMO.

Eco fighters I have a very soft spot for. MM is great (for a Takumi game)

Progear I do appreciate but not sure Cave game's work so well in horizontal format, as such I'd rather play any other Cave shmup to be honest than this one.

1944 is not so hot..
