keep at it jockel you could double that score easy with a little strategy applied , now you probably know the levels start to figure out your strategy for the run through , watching icarus,s videos on youtube helped me alot .

for jockel: you could try switching to Tateha, as the table isn't maxed out for her yet

movement is slightly slower, but really not so different to Ageha

the score should improve as soon as i stop playing with the ol' PS2 standard pad and start with a good stick.

ARCADE MODE

Score done for the first monthly tournament at cave-stg.com, topping the table, and setting a new personal best. I can probably get 60mil with refinements, but that is something to do for the near-future, when I get the time and energy.

Two versions of the replay available.
- 448x608, 30fps | 224x304, 60fps
Both replays are 290MB, identical, and encoded with XviD, so you have a choice of smooth playback or large viewing dimensions. Thanks to zakk for the hosting, as always

Final boss, last pattern. Played on a loaned PCB. Now that I have a PS2, I plan to 1CC and get a better score.

So, I finally got a new personal record!

...too bad it doesn't make the table since it was with Ageha. I played him a couple credits last night, failed miserably, then picked him up again and got up to the last boss cold, further than I've ever gotten with Tateha. *sigh* Why is he so much stronger...

Anyway,

spineshark - 26,326,950 - 5-2 - Ageha - PS2

This'll be my second Cave 1cc after I clean up the two times I died WITH FULL BAR (once on the Stage 4 boss, when it used the bullshit attack between the two cars instead of the nice one with the turrets you can shoot for gold, and once early in 5-2). I could've even finished this one if I hadn't Game Over'd on the "bouncing" attack on her last lifebar; I've practiced the final attack a lot and the penultimate one is pretty easy too.

Got this on my first shot today so I feel a little better now. First 3 stages went well, then I died in Stage 4 and couldn't get my level up at all and ended with only 2 stocks left. I could probably get another 5-6 million easy if I'd just stop getting killed to stupid stuff. :/
