Commodore monitor question

Hey guys, I recently acquired this commodore monitor for shmup (saturn, hopefully) uses, but I took a look at the back and have no idea what to do with it! Help!

Looks like it's Chroma/Luma only (ie: S-Video).

cool. so do they make all-in-one saturn cables like that? Or, perhaps a better question, what consoles can output that?

That monitor also supports TTL RGB signals (not useful for games) and regular old composite of course. The Saturn outputs S-video, I have mine hooked to a tate'd C=1702. You just need to make your own cable (or splice together a C64 monitor cable and a Saturn S-video cable).

You should be able to find a saturn S-Video out cable on eBay, I'm sure.

just don't plug it straight into the monitor, because standard S-Video Luma is on the same pin as that commodore monitor's "audio" cable. That could be bad. :)

You're going to have to make your own custom S-Video->Commondore connector.

i doubt i'll go that far. for now i've resorted to using good ol' composite cables to play DDP
