PS3 and PS1 game questions

In the unlikely even that somebody here has a Japanese PS3 and Toaplan Shooting Battle 1 and/or Gradius Gaiden, I'd really like to know if they work properly. Both of those games have issues when running on a PS2. They haven't been tested yet, according to the official PS3 compatibility list.

I can confirm that Toaplan Shooting Battle works just fine. I tested this game a few months ago by playing first on the PS2 then the PS3. As for Gradius Gaiden...I haven't tried that yet.
